Drop-off terms

Updated November 4, 2026

When you drop off laundry, you're leaving it in our care. These terms explain what we promise, what we ask of you, and what happens if something goes wrong. Booking a drop-off means you agree to them.

1. What we do

We wash, dry, fold, stack and bag your laundry with eco-friendly, plant-based products. We follow the notes you give us whenever we can, and we let you know when your laundry is ready.

2. Before you drop off

We can turn away any item we think isn't safe to wash.

3. What normal washing can do

Even gentle washing can cause colors to fade or bleed, fabric to shrink or pill, old or thin fabric to tear, and buttons, beads, zippers or trim to come loose. Some stains don't come out. We aren't responsible for these normal results of washing, for items without care labels, or for care labels that turn out to be wrong.

4. If something goes wrong

If we damage or lose something because of our mistake, the most we will pay is the cost of that drop-off, meaning what you paid us for that load. This is the full amount we owe for any claim about that drop-off, no matter what the items are worth.

5. Telling us about a problem

Please look through your laundry when you pick it up. If anything is damaged or missing, tell us within 48 hours through our contact form, before you wash or wear the item again, and bring it back so we can see it.

6. Price and payment

Our price is $2 per pound, weighed on our scale. We take PayPal or Venmo.

7. Laundry left with us

If your laundry isn't picked up within 30 days after we tell you it's ready, and we can't reach you, we may donate it.

8. The agreement

These terms are between you and Oregon Wash and Fold. Wisconsin law applies. If we can't work out a disagreement together, it goes to small claims court in Dane County, Wisconsin.
